Empathy and Communication in the Hospital

Earlier in the game there was a post by Brad asking, “Who would you want to be your chief experience officer?”

If you are seeking a patient-centric experience in the hispital it is important to have empathy. Vulpes_squared suggests that medical students live what they prescribe.

a

Two way communication is crucial. Player tedeytan suggests that listening can lead to innovation.

b

el_chapitan sees this communication happening in a more familiar social space.

c

Vulpes_squared also sees an opportunity for the hospital to provide more in-depth reliable resources and tools for the patent to learn.

d

Through increased empathy, communication, and education it seems that we could likely increase the efficiency, and create strong community in hospitals. Through this, the medical community may transition from treatment of sick patients to a community of knowledge creation and wellness.
